He was born in Athens. At the age of 7 he began his violin studies at the Athens Conservatory of Music, under the guidance of Sophocles Politis, whose class he graduated in January 1996.
Afterwards, he completed his postgraduate studies in Madrid, at the ESCUELA SUPERIOR DE MUSICA “REINA SOFIA” with a scholarship of the school, in the class of the internationally renowned professor Zackar Bron.
From 1997 to 2000, with a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (I.K.Y.), he completed his musical studies in Paris, at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, with Devy Erlih, obtaining the Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste de Violon (Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste de Violon) in March 2000. He also won the First Prize of the City of Paris (Premier Prix de la Ville de Paris) under the guidance of Professor Christophe Boulier.
He was a member of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra and the World Youth Orchestra, as well as the Piraeus Symphony Orchestra and the Athens Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated as a soloist with various orchestras and has given recitals in several cities in Greece and abroad.Today he is a leading A’ in the National Symphony Orchestra of the National Radio, a member of CAMERATA / Armonia Atenea and a member of Quinteto Tangarto which specializes in the music of Astor Piazzolla. Finally, he teaches at the Conservatory of the Athens College and since July 2013 he teaches at the seminar “Academie des Jeunes Solistes” in France.
