BLUE Cosmopolis is a 10-day arts and culture festival that took place in the City of Kavala, Greece between 22-31 July 2022. The festival consisted of art exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and gastronomy events, with the aim of highlighting the maritime character of the city. More specifically:
- CosmoArts – participatory workshops and outdoor ceramics demonstrations by acclaimed local ceramists
- CosmoPhotography – “Archipelago” exhibition by the renowned Stratos Kalafatis, a photography project originally commissioned for the Greek participation at the 10th edition of the international architecture Biennale in Venice 2006
- CosmoZine – fanzine exhibition and participatory workshops by “The Athens Zine Bibliotheque”, the largest zine library in Greece
- CosmoYouth – art workshops and storytelling for kids
- CosmoPlace – participatory workshop for the artistic intervention and shaping of public space (placemaking)
- CosmoBlues – music concerts “on board” and on the seafront of the city spanning from traditional music to contemporary sounds
- CosmoTaste – seafood cooking demonstrations and workshops by renowned chefs
