The Studentenphilharmonie (Student Philharmonics) Tübingen, StudPhil for short, was founded in 1967 and is located at the Eberhard Karls University. During four intense rehearsal weekends every semester, it’s offering the opportunity to prepare an ambitious program to both students and employed members of the orchestra.Key aspects of the musical work are symphonic compositions and Solo concerts of all epochs, and in doing so, the orchestra especially wants to give young soloists the opportunity to present themselves publicly. Symeon Ioannidis has been the conductor of the Studentenphilharmonie Tübingen since 2014.
